Using a workout program to shed pounds before the holidays

Many of us know that when the holidays come around it implies the our mid sections are going to start getting larger.  That’s the main reason why you may want to lose pounds fast before the holidays get here. So how does one lose the weight? There is exercise programs, such as Insanity Workout with Shaun T, and watching what you eat. For most of us finding the time to exercise on a consistent basis is a losing cause, and with the holidays coming it just means that attempting to diet will be an uphill battle.

Let’s get right into it. First, you want to eat more then 3 meals a day. Research has shown that many lighter meals during the day will boost metabolism and keep your energy levels up through the day. Secondly, you want to watch what you eat. You should keep a look out for the quantity of carbohydrates that you eat in a day. Don’t completely cut them out because you do need some carbohydrates as well as fats in your diet to remain balanced. If you do have carbs, try and have them before your last meal of the day. Ideally have them in the morning or at lunch. Lastly, you should try and change up the quantity of calories that you eat every couple of days. Your body becomes conformed to eating particular kinds of foods and approximately the same quantity of calories every day. Essentially , your metabolic rate is on autopilot and you can change that by varying your diet.

Starting a workout regime is also essential. A person can only lose so much weight by dieting. If you are looking for a more extreme approach at losing weight, I highly suggest the Tony Horton P90X Workout. Not only does it introduce a diet, but also introduces a wonderful workout program that will give you the results you are looking for. So, to shed the pounds before the holiday get here you must eat more then 3 meals per day, watch what you eat, and then get into a workout program and stick with it! Enjoy the holidays.
