A Fabulous Californian Vacation with My Family

Last summer, my family and I went to California. The weather was beautiful throughout the entire vacation and we were about to see a large portion of the city and some of the surrounding area. Out of the entire vacation, the two things I enjoyed the most were going to the beach and shopping for gifts. Because we were staying at a beach front hotel in Santa Barbara, visiting the beach could not have been more convenient. I was able to come back home with a gorgeous tan and several new outfits!

In addition to visiting Santa Barbara, we also drove to Hollywood and Los Angeles. We went to a few nearby theme parks and went on a lot of really fun rides! We were even able to convince my sister, who does not like rides very much, to join us. In Los Angeles, my family and I discovered a fabulous ice cream shop and went there three times on our vacation for delicious banana splits. The last thing we did before we went home was swimming with the dolphins. I was amazed at what gentle and caring creatures they really are. I am definitely looking forward to the next time my family and I go on a vacation to California!
